Police Museum / Maldives Police Service - Male

The Police Heritage Centre (PHC) was established on 29th March 2009. With the changes brought to the administrative structure of Maldives Police Service on 01st May 2010, PHC was put under the newly formed Integrated Services Department, which was previously under the Community Engagement and Crime Prevention Department.
From 8th February 2012, PHC was under Public Affairs Department. Police Heritage Centre office was shifted to the ground floor of the National Museum on 15th October 2012 and the works to establish a Police Museum started under the supervision of the PHC.
The aim of PHC is to preserve and restore the Police history in Maldives for the later generations. And the responsibility is to do all that is necessary to restore and maintain Police history.
